Singapore health supplements — no registration, full dealer responsibility

Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA) imposes no pre-market approval or registration for health supplements — instead the dealer (importer/distributor) bears full responsibility for safety, quality and labeling.

Two restrictions matter most: products must be free of western medicinal and prohibited ingredients, and claims must not reference treating or preventing disease.

Entry is fast without registration, but HSA's post-market surveillance can trigger immediate recalls or bans — keep ingredient test certificates on file.
